This notice has been prepared by AYF Tekstil Tic. Ltd. Şti. in its capacity as data controller under Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”).

02.Data we process

What data we collect

Personal data is collected on this site only if you fill in the contact or quotation form, and only to the extent you enter it. If you browse the site without submitting a form, no personal data is processed.

Identity: first and last name
Contact: email address, phone number, company name
Request content: subject, message, product group, estimated quantity, requested deadline and technical details
Transaction security: technical data that may be recorded by the server when the form is submitted (IP address, submission time)

Why we process your data

We process your data solely to handle the request you send us. We do not add you to a marketing list and we do not sell data to third parties.

Responding to your request and contacting you
Running the quotation and sampling process
Establishing and maintaining a business relationship
Fulfilling legal obligations and providing evidence in the event of a dispute

04.Legal basis

The legal basis for processing

Your personal data is processed on the following grounds set out in Article 5 of the KVKK:

Direct relevance to the conclusion or performance of a contract (Art. 5/2-c) — quotation and sample requests fall here
Processing necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller (Art. 5/2-f) — managing incoming enquiries
Compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 5/2-ç) and establishment or protection of a right (Art. 5/2-e)

05.Transfers

Who your data is shared with

Data you send through the form reaches us via the server hosting the site and our email infrastructure. Apart from the suppliers providing these services, your data is not shared with third parties; it is disclosed to public authorities only where legislation requires.

If hosting or form services are obtained from a provider located abroad, your personal data may be transferred abroad in accordance with Article 9 of the KVKK, subject to the required safeguards.

06.Collection and retention

How data is collected and how long it is kept

Data is collected electronically through the forms on this site, by partly automated means.

Your data is kept for as long as the purpose of processing requires and until the end of the limitation periods laid down in the relevant legislation, after which it is erased, destroyed or anonymised.

07.Your rights

Your rights under the KVKK

Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the following rights, exercisable by applying to the data controller:

To learn whether your personal data is processed and, if so, to request information about it
To learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose
To know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom the data is transferred
To request rectification of incomplete or inaccurate data
To request erasure or destruction of the data where the conditions are met
To request that rectification, erasure or destruction be notified to third parties to whom the data was transferred
To object to an adverse outcome arising solely from automated analysis
To claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing

08.Applications

How to exercise your rights

You may submit your requests in writing, in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, by signed letter to Şahintepe Mah. Doğan Sokak No: 10, Başakşehir / İstanbul, or by email to info@ayftekstil.com.tr from an email address you have previously notified to us and which is registered in our systems.

Your application will be concluded free of charge as soon as possible and within thirty days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request. Where the process incurs an additional cost, the fee set out in the tariff determined by the Board may be charged.
